In many countries that celebrate Hallowe’en by trick or treating, this year is going to be a challenge Trick or treating from a socially safe distance. This year we decided to create a Halloween tunnel. We took a 6 inch diameter, 6 feet long PVC pipe and spray painted it black. Then with some gorilla glue, coloured foam pieces and pumpkin bells on a string we created a safe slide for the candy to get in the hands of the superheroes, witches, ghosts and goblins haunting the streets! Masks may have become the everyday fashion requirement, and dressing up for a trip to the grocery store and heading to school, doesn’t mean the mystic magic of Halloween should stop. Just remember to stay safe, go out in groups only within your bubble and respect the distance.
