Why haven't I seen a benefit? PDF Print E-mail

There may be a number of reasons, but first of all remember CanEVA is not a “painkiller”. It does not have a chemical which will immediately block pain. The reason you see a benefit is that the joint and muscles are repairing and therefore movement is becoming easier and less painful. Sometimes these changes are very subtle and it is only if you stop taking CanEVA that you notice that the pain returns.

Some other reasons are that some joints may be affected by Gout which although classified as a form of arthritis, is in fact due to deposition of Uric Acid crystals in the joint- Unfortunately, the only way to resolve gout is to use an agent that will dissolve these crystals. Once resolved, then CanEVA may help the joint return to normal activity.

People with Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) have a 50-50 chance of seeing a benefit. Because RA is an autoimmune disease and is usually related to an abnormality of the immune system, the immune boosting effects of CanEVA may neutralize the beneficial joint rebuilding and the net effect is that no benefit is seen. However, about 50% of RA patients do see a benefit.

If you have had surgery to replace knee or hip joints, the body does not have the original parts to repair. However, the muscle building benefits of CanEVA can provide relief in these people.

Finally, there may be other confounding factors which may need to be resolved by physical adjustments by a Chiropractor or other medical practitioner. Remember, CanEVA can be safely used with other techniques, natural remedies as well as with prescription medications.
